L’Ape D’Oc produces honey in Demonte, located in Stura Valley, and it’s  a "High Mountain Honeys" Slow Food Presidium.

L’Ape D’Oc: a taste for work and for sweetness

Lidia takes care of bees and runs the Company while Maurizio is looking after honey extraction in laboratory and beehives maintenance: a small but laborious team, just like the bees that live in the one hundred beehives of L’Ape D’Oc in Stura Valley (Cuneo). The Company, run with a biological conduction, produces monofloral honeys, typical of high mountain.

Since 2013 the Ape D'Oc is part of the Slow Food Presidium "High Mountain Honeys" for the protection and production enhancements of rhododendron, Fir Honeydew and high mountain Wildflower honeys. The different kind of plant species and environments makes an authentic taste, with always new nuances ready to be discovered.
